Talented students who meet to work on a variety of special
art projects. Open to all who wish to join. Art Club meets
Tuesdays at 8:00 a.m. in the Art Room, Hall C.

Shelnutt, Girls- Coach Deep
Interscholastic competition for eighth grade boys and
girls. Students must meet academic eligibility requirements.
Tryouts are held in the fall.

Crew - Faculty Advisor - Mr.
Trippany
Open to all enthusiastic students who want to promote
school spirit. Membership includes admission to home basketball
games, blue crew t-shirts, and other spirit items. They
meet periodically throughout the year.

The squad promotes school spirit at basketball games
and other school functions. Tryouts are held in the spring
for participation the following year. Students must meet
academic eligibility requirements.

This team is made up of 8th grade girls that try out
each fall. They perform during basketball games and pep
rallies. The routines combine hip-hop, step, and jazz
styles. They practice in the cafeteria in the morning
during basketball season.

Environmental/Recycling
Club - Faculty Advisor - Ms.
Reding & Ms.
Allen
This club is open to all students. The club takes part
in environmental field trips and activities, and runs
the school's recycling program. Students learn about environmental
issues and become proactive in helping to preserve our
environment. They meet on the third Tuesdays of the month;
with additional meetings, as needed before activities
and Saturday fieldtrips.

We are a student-led religious club that focuses on fellowship
and sharing a faith-filled message. We meet on the 1st
and 3rd Friday of each month.

Fiddle
Club - Faculty Advisor - Ms.
McClellan
This club is open to 7th and 8th grade orchestra students
who are interested in learning music without written notes.
They will learn Scottish, Irish, and bluegrass fiddle
styles. They meet Fridays at 8:00 a.m. in the Orchestra
Room.

This club is open to all Harry Potter fans. The student-led
club meets on Fridays at 8:15 a.m. in the Media Center
to discuss Harry Potter books.

This group of students forms the staff for our school's
morning news show. They rotate on and off the crew every
few weeks. Students wishing to participate submit an application
at the beginning of the year to the Media Specialist explaining
why they wish to do be on the crew.

Odyssey
of the Mind - Faculty Advisor - Ms. Allen
Odyssey of the Mind is an international educational program
that provides creative problem-solving opportunities for
students from kindergarten through college. Kids apply
their creativity to solve problems that range from building
mechanical devices to presenting their own interpretation
of literary classics. They then bring their solutions
to competition on the local, state, and World level. Click

Teacher-selected students from each homeroom meet for
initial training and then, throughout the year, assist
any new students in that homeroom with campus tours, helpful
information, etc.

Open to 50 participants, students from all grade levels
run the mile without stopping in order to join. They meet
Tuesdays and Thursdays after school until 5:30 in September-October
and in March-April.

Scrapbook Club- Faculty Advisor - Ms.
Bowden
We are very excited to announce that Hull is forming
its first Scrapbook Club. Everyone is welcome to
join and get involved in a hobby that can become a lifelong
passion. You may attend to work on your existing
projects and enjoy the company of fellow scrapbookers.We
are requesting $10.00 per member to offset costs of scissors,
adhesive, snacks, etc.

A member from each class is elected to represent fellow
students in a form of student government. Officers are
elected by school-wide ballot. The council meets monthly
on the second Friday of each month in the Cafeteria.

The club is open to all students who wish to expand their
computer skills and knowledge in both recreational and
educational formats. Their Mission is to teach civic responsibility
and promote leadership and personal growth for Hull Middle
School students. The club meets every 4th Friday at 8:15
a.m. on Hall C in Rm. 2.176.
